Have you ever seen a really fast vehicle get moving? A plane taking off, a motorcycle at the starting line, a train ready to get rolling…you get the picture.
After the engine is revved but right right right before it actually starts to move, there is a palpable tension that is nearly visible. When you’re on the vehicle you definitely notice it, but even if you’re just watching, you know its there. You feel yourself leaning forward, your chest constricts slightly, maybe your holding your breath just a little, for a nano-second, everything stops and then….GO! In reality it only takes a few seconds for the shift to occur, but you could swear its longer if you're really paying attention.
That’s how I feel right now. Something is going to happen soon and I’m just waiting for the shift between revved and GO. Where it will take me after it starts, I don't really know. But I’m ready.
