Random Acts of Bumble

Colin at 3.5 has developed some outstanding qualaties.

He can ask why after every scene in Wall-E, which he has watched about twenty times.

He can screech so loud our nearly deaf cat hears him and throws annoying glances his way.

He has the biggest hugs ever.

He can use a stool to get whatever he wants in the pantry just like a monkey uses a stick to get termites.

His whine is becoming quite polished if I do say so myself!

He rats himself out when he does something he shouldn't. Who needs a sibling?

He can use his thick skull like a weapon of mass destruction.

He has a hollow leg and can snack through the day like noone's business.

He remembers things from weeks and months ago.

He loves to help cook and clean. "I a good cleaner!"

He thinks a garden is a great place for stomping practice.

He can eat a whole flat of berries (if we didn't stop him).

He thinks Shoobie Doo is the greatest.

He says that pasta is his favorite food.

He thinks we are going to the airport every time we get on a freeway.

He loves to talk on the phone but thinks the other person can see what he's talking about. "no, right there, see?"

He sleeps with Froggie and Cookie Man every night unless he's mad. Then they get hurled to the other side of the room.

He is still in a crib and never tries to get out on his own. I know, right?

He is the kid in class who's "doing his own thing" while the others listen to the coach.

He will say "Hi!" to every stranger in a store and still giggles whenever anyone says Hi back. Alternatively he gets Very Sad when they don't.

He is fascinating to listen to when he gets on a role. We don't always catch what he's saying but he puts all his effort into it.

He is still the loviest, huggiest Bumble Boy there ever was.
